TO VETERANS
This program recognizes military veterans (and spouses) in need of improvements or upgrades to existing areas of their homes.
Our goal is to make living easier for veterans by assisting with minor renovation projects such as door widenings, wheelchair ramps, and bathroom upgrades.
Merit NS is pleased to be working with MP Peter Stoffer and VETS Canada CEO, Jim Lowther, to identify and work with those veterans in need. The Merit NS Board of Directors decide on projects based on the following factors:
- The number of Merit NS member companies involved in the program.
- The time and ability of each member company to fulfill program/job requirements.
- Cost of service and our ability to secure project sponsors.
