Journeyperson
of the Year
Award
MERIT Nova Scotia recognizes a member company apprentice who has successfully completed their apprenticeship and achieved his or her Red Seal as our MERIT Journeyperson of the Year. To be eligible, the employee must be employed by a MERIT member company and be nominated by his/her Employer.

Trades Award
MERIT Nova Scotia provides awards annually in the amount of $1,000 in the spring awards cycle and they are open to graduates of CANS Building Futures for Youth program and graduates of the O2 (Options & Opportunities) program who are entering their first year of full-time studies in one of the programs in the School of Trades & Technology at NSCC.
